The word "ceramic" comes from the suburb of Kerameikos in Ancient Athens and originally referred to earthenware pottery, for baked clay products. Today the term ceramic materials has a wider usage and includes all inorganic non-metallic materials that have undergone heat treatment at high temperatures (>1000°C) either during the processing stage or during the application stage.
Our workshop continues the tradition of ceramic art by creating 100% handmade products. Most of the objects made follow the traditional line in shape and decoration. We choose the best raw materials, double firing, in order to achieve excellent quality ceramics suitable for use and decoration.
