The Αrcheological Museum of Samos, at Vathi, among other things, is very known for hosting the famous Kouros of Samos; the bigger (5m tall) sculpture of archaic Greece.

Very significant, also, is the new Archeological Mouseum Of Pythagorio, at the heart of the ancient city of Samos. A museum with a particularly rich collection.

At Ecclesiastical & Byzantine Museum of Samos, at the harbor of Vathi, one can see aspects of the religious and folk culture of the island.

In the Tower of Logothetis, at the Castle of Pythagorio, is hosted a small museum of the area of the medieval capital of Samos.

At Mitilini village one can visit the Natural History Museum of the Aegean.

Other specialized, thematic museums of the island are the Samos Wine Museum, at Vathi, and the Karlovassi Tannery Museum.
